The term "queer ecology" refers to a loose, interdisciplinary constellation of practices that aim to disrupt prevailing heterosexist notions and institutional articulations of sexuality and nature.

Non-Binary Nature is a symposium where people from diverse disciplines, including feminism, literature, archaeology, psychology, philosophy, and biology, come together to discuss the theory of queer ecology. By inviting experts from these different fields, the symposium offers various perspectives to examine and analyze the topic, and aims to add new thoughts to the subject.
